I was trying to do it on my own, doing long walks 4 or 5 days a week, going to the gym too, but not losing the obesity I longed to unload. After ignoring Michael Nichols for a year (duh), I decided to show up to see what it was all about. INSTANT TRANSFORMATION is what I experienced. The pounds started melting off. I was hooked on MDI8. It has been 8 months now, and I’m down 30 pounds, feeling strong, and taking on the world. It’s not just fitness. MDI8 got into my system, and is affecting every area of my life very positively. I have been doing MDI 8 for over a year and love it. I am not a natural athlete and was experiencing low energy and was unable to keep up with the pre-schoolers I work with as a teacher. After about a month of this fitness program I starting seeing results. The team and partner work are motivating and the instructors know just how much to push us to get the results. MDI8 is awesome. I am 50 years old and when I started I weighed about 220 and hadn’t worked out in about 20 years. Since then, I have dropped 30 pounds and feel great. I love the group dynamic and also being outside in beautiful California when we do the workouts. I am now in the second week of the 8 week cycle and can feel the difference already. I have been a member of gyms and tried P90X. Both were good if you had the dedication and discipline to getting fit by yourself: I did not. It was all too easy to say “Next week” or “tomorrow I’ll do that”, or, “its only one week missed, how bad could it be?”. All of these excuses are removed in MDI8. The instructors present a knowledgeable and fun workout atmosphere that can do nothing but succeed. You actually want to do this! I find myself pushing harder and smiling throughout.?I would recommend MDI8 to any person of any fitness level to come and check out out. joined MDI 8 because I wanted to get in shape to complete a goal on my “Bucket List” hiking the Grand Canyon. I also knew that I was 45 and my health and lack of fitness was starting to take a toll on my overall well being. I didn’t really know what to expect when I joined MDI 8 and I truly had no idea how much I would enjoy the workouts and how it would impact my day to day life. My family saw the difference in me after just the first workout. While I know that I’ve never worked out this hard in my entire life, I also know that I would never push myself as hard as I do in MDI 8. I’ve never been a “fitness fanatic” so to say that I’m looking forward to these workouts is pretty astounding! But after the first week, I already saw changes in my body and I knew I was on the right track. I love my MDI 8 mates and look forward to working out with them, and cheering them on each workout. MDI Nichols has this fitness thing down! He has created the most exciting, fun, and result-filled workout out there! To be able to get 35+ people together 3x’s a week, push themselves till there’s nothing left and then excite them to come back for more…there’s something to that! wasn’t working out, I had no energy, and I was 20lbs overweight. For me, I wasn’t interested in a gym membership or or home fitness equipment that ends up not being used after a month or two. I knew someone that had been doing MDI8 and saw their transformation. I wanted my own transformation. When I started, just making it through the workout was a challenge. After committing to the program for over 16 weeks now, instead of finishing last, I challenge myself to keep up with the advanced group. I’m seeing great results. I’m looking better and feeling better. I lover the varity of workouts, and the encouragement from both the instructors and fellow members. I recently lost 75 pounds when I met MDI Nichols and I talked to him about wanting to lose the last 25 pounds and the struggles I was having. He told me come work out with us and I will get rid of the last 25 pounds. I was working out pretty regulary before joining MDI 8 so I thought it would be an easy transition. I had no idea how little I was actually pushing myself until my first class! I was sore, exhausted, and discrouraged but MDI Nichols never let me give up. He is amazing at motivating and leading us towards a happier life. It is not about just going and working out – it is about being a part of something…a community of people who are bettering themselves together and making the group stronger because of it. I feel so fortunate to have stumbled upon this group and truly believe it is changing my life and it WILL change yours. The first time I attended an MDI8 workout opened my eyes to how out of shape I was and that I needed to work out. MDI Nichols called me that evening and explained the philosophy and details of the program and encouraged me to come out again after the weekend. Gradually I could do more and more and eight weeks later I am looking and feeling better than I have in ten years! MDI8 is awesome. I have been doing the program for just over a year and I am extremely happy with the results. At my first class I pushed so hard that I ended up laying down, under a tree, with my feet up because I was out of breath and dizzy. That was my wake up call to how out of shape I really was. Now I feel healthy, stronger, my endurance has improved and I have more energy. It also helps that I dropped three belt notches.??MDI8 instructors not only have fitness knowledge but are able to motivate you to do what you think your body can’t do. The cardio boosts your endurance while the exercises kick start all muscle groups into shape. There is a tremendous amount of encouragement from the other students as well.??Since there is a different exercise program each day I do not get stuck into a mundane, boring workout routine. MDI8 has made me feel healthy and strong! I hadn’t gone for a run in about 10 years. I didn’t think I knew how to run! Until MDI Nichols got a hold of me! MDI 8 is the best fitness program I have ever participated in. It has taught me to never quit no matter what the situation may be. The instructors provide great motivation during the 1 hour workout and all I have to do is give 100% dedication towards it. Its a great positive environment to workout where you meet and greet people of all ages and professions. Over the last 6 months since I have started, I feel much stronger than I was.
